About Christine Ann O'Connell
Christine Ann O'Connell is a futurist, strategist, and builder working where AI meets human agency. Through Custom AI Agents she sets up personal AI agents for founders, coaches, and creators. She also leads Resonance Revolution, Team Virtuous Polarization, and the Substack Letters to Future Humans, all gathered under Activation Energy Projects.
Background
Christine holds a degree in International Relations, specializing in Foreign Policy and Security Studies in the Middle East. She spent years in behavioral health, including crisis and substance-use work, before moving into coaching for entrepreneurs and then into building AI systems. A common thread runs through all of it: how people lose or regain control over their own attention and choices.
She started building AI clones and agents as soon as the tools allowed. She is open about not being a software developer; her strength is designing how a system should behave, what it should and should not do, and how it fits into real work. She is based in Maine and works with clients online.
What she believes
She describes herself as a technology optimist and a capitalism skeptic. Her view is that AI multiplies whatever direction it is pointed in, so the people with constructive ideas should learn to use it well rather than sit it out.
